The #weekends are technically defined as ‘Saturday and Sunday ‘, but for most of us it usually starts on Friday itself.

Many of the #companies acknowledge the #mindset of the weekend by offering Casual Fridays, longer lunch afternoon, or allowing employees to leave early in the evenings.

Well for most of us at least...

While this may be the case with most #countries like #Germany, #Sweden, etc. many countries in #Asia like #Japan, #SouthKorea, #India have poor #worklifebalance. Just because an #employee works #overtime hours doesn't necessarily mean that he or she has #productiveday. Eventually, the long hours take a toll on the #body and #mind.

Certain #initiatives like ‘Premium Fridays ‘and ‘summer Fridays’ have been introduced by companies across the globe to show their #flexibility and encourage #worklifebalance. A few of the companies even implemented #4daywork which turned out very #efficient.

After all, #happyemployee is a #productive employee.

So how was your weekend mood at your #workplace?

A FRI'YAY' or a 'FRIED'AY?
